Picture retakes are on November 1! That's this Wednesday!
Remember to be kind.
This message is a reminder that the FMRHS Site-Based Committee will meet tomorrow night: December 7th at 6pm in the library.
Our group welcomes additional individuals who are interested in being involved with offering opportunities to our students. We hope to see you tomorrow night.
Did You Know?
Most of the students at FMRHS are striving to be their “Best Version of Self” and meet the mission and vision of our school. Earlier this month, members of the student body requested a change to the student handbook, specifically the Dress Code found on page 22. Bullet four states:
Hats, Hoods and sunglasses (including on top of the head) are not to be worn inside the building.
After meeting with the Student Congress, sending out surveys, and discussing this with members of the staff, the “Hat” rule is changed to reflect:
Hoods and sunglasses (including on top of the head) are not to be worn inside the building.
School appropriate hats may be worn within the school when they do not create a distraction to the learning environment. (School appropriate hats are defined as: Hats worn in school as long as they do not cause a learning distraction to the wearer or other students (such as a hat pulled too far over a student's face; a hat that contains inappropriate language and/or imagery etc.).
Have a wonderful school break with your students,
